We are American wine brokers, living in Burgundy for over 20 years now, and specializing in small-production, estate-bottled Burgundies.
Since 1996, we have been the eyes, ears  (and palate!) for a small group of Burgundy lovers and collectors back in the US.

Our twice-yearly newsletter, 'ELDEN SELECTIONS', is intended to keep them up-to-date with the complex world of Burgundy wine. With first-hand news of harvest conditions, profiles of up-and-coming producers and notes from our regular cellar tastings, ‘Selections’ plots a course through the Burgundy ‘minefield.

One of our  frustrations with the US market is that the regional 'appellation' Burgundies that are everyday-drinking wines for us here in Burgundy get priced out of their proper category, simply because shipping costs and US retail mark-ups are so high relative to 'cellar' prices.

Here in France, that is not the case.
